Plans Proceeding to Build New Sanctuary for Church in Tijuana

Baja Presbyterian Missions is raising funds to extend the outreach of Dios Con Nosotros Iglesia Presbiteriana ("God With Us Presbyterian Church") which is well situated in a growing middle-class area near a University and busy commercial district. We believe the Holy Spirit is leading us to build here. Plans call for two stories with ground level parking and a 180-seat sanctuary above.

The existing church building on the back of the lot will become classrooms and Fellowship Hall. This project is important to us also because it is a fulfillment of the vision of Roland and Kay Taylor, founders of Baja Missions. At year-end, we have $121,000 in the Otay Building Fund. Our goal is $150,000. Please consider making a donation.

Welcome Aboard to Three Churches, New Donors to Baja Presbyterian Missions!

In 2002, donations were received for the first time from three churches: Faith Presbyterian and Mira Mesa Presbyterian, both in San Diego, and North East Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg, Fla.

These three newcomers join our list of regular donors who are: Brawley, El Cajon, Fletcher Hills, Graham Memorial Coronado, La Jolla, Rancho Bernardo, Solana Beach, Trinity Spring Valley and Westminster Point Loma. Welcome back also to Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church, which “returned to the fold” after an absence of a few years.
