2009 Leadership Connection Day is all about Connecting!

Every year for the past decade or so, we have gathered together annually with our “official” Presbytery leaders to talk about leadership in the church.  Mostly comprised of new elders, deacons and clerks, our sessions have provided didactic orientation for these roles, and touched on Presbytery governance and/or hot issues at the national level.

This year a few of the hot issues are so hot we need a special day just to scratch the surface!  But the consistently hot issue that we CAN address in a day is that of the Missional Church.  This concept pervades every aspect of our leadership and ministry activities.  It’s where we are going in the future as a Presbytery, and it’s why we want you to be sure not to miss it!  Better yet, bring your church friends who serve on committees so they can catch the vision!  They are the future leaders of your church. The sooner they learn to speak Missional, the sooner they will be able to serve in Missional Leadership!

More than didactics, more than lectures, this event will draw you in with round table discussions, panel presentations, and plenty of time for questions and comparing notes with your brothers and sisters in Christ.
